Typology Project

This week in my digital media class, we were asked to create our own typology grid based off the work of Bernd and Hilla Becher.  We had to take 16 photos that were similar, but different.  I decided to take 16 pictures of 16 permanent markers I had in my art supplies.  We had to use Pixlr's Advanced Photo Editor to edit them and create a 4x4 grid.  The hardest thing in doing this project was taking the pictures because I tried to place them all evenly on the white paper I used for the background, but some of them show more of the black marker below the colored caps more than others.  Although each picture isn't exactly perfect to each other, I am overall very pleased with how my typology grid turned out and the rainbow colors it makes as a whole.
